Hi all.

Does anyone know where I can get some black plexiglass (or equivalent material) to make a black frame for a Toshiba 36ZP48?
It would have to be cut to size, and would be attached to the set using blu-tack.

Just normlay clear plexi and spray the back black?

Id paint it black with some high gloss rattle cans, or if you wanted a slightly opaque look then get hold of some light tinting spray (halfords, car modding websites etc) and use that.

Use some car window tinting film and stick it on the plexiglass, you wouldnt need much and would have a choice of tint. Plus it would produce a nice flat finish, no drips, pitting etc.

My initial idea was to paint the frame black using car spray, but I wanted the "customisation" to be easily reversible, just in case.

Spraying clear plexi or using tinting film could be a solution, but I still believe using black plexi would ultimately look better.
It just seems hard to find (and having it cut to measure).

I would have thought perspex would be too shiny and coul cause annoying reflections. Surely a mat finish would be better?
