TV in a fireplace?

Hi All,

Just about to get new central heating and boiler and am contemplating not replacing my fire and instead housing my TV in there instead!

I have a Sony widescreen TV and the idea was to put that including the stand, DVD, Sky & Amp etc into the fireplace.

Any of you guys tried / seen this done?

Would I be opening a can of worms and need to get chimney supports etc?

TIA
