Well first things first I've got the Volt driver and now looking for the amp to drive so far I've looked at

takes my fancy as a suitable amp for it, I'm not sure if I will add the

or drive it direct from the procesor or should I take the easy route and fit
http://www.bkelec.com/Diy/bsb300.htm

or does anyone else have another solution?

I'm also looking for some input on the design for the box too.

Hi There

If you are going to use a signal direct from your proccesor then a slave amp like the MF450 or MF300 would be ideal, bear in mind though that the MF450 has a fan that is on all the time which will be heard during quite periods.

I would personaly go for a completed panel (Not because I work for BK), as this is a far easier and prettier way of making what would eventualy end up looking like a professional piece of kit.

As for cabinet designs try Win Isd for some ideas, it can be found here http://www.linearteam.dk/default.asp...load=winisdpro if you do use this program it may be of interest to note that the Volt website give 0.011kg (11g!!!) as the Mms I think this is a mistake and should be more like 0.11kg (110g)

Take a look over at http://www.diysubwoofers.org lots of differnt types of subs and links. This looks interesting, but it's HUGE and requires 2 drivers really http://www.decware.com/whornok.htm however I have seen signle horn version subs as well.
