BLU-TACK is a non-reactive, resistive damping mastic which behaves like a tacky, flexible, semi-liquid when being handled but like a solid at audio frequencies. .
Wow doesn't that sound great stuff, why has nobody told me about this before. I was wasting my time using it to hold posters up all this time

Re: Blue Tack $11.95!!

I remember years ago reading about the discovery by the Americans of this strange new substance called Blu-tack and how they had to import it specially at great expense.

Farnell sell some of the Belden cables by the metre I haven't looked to see if they do 7710. If you check out the Canare site they list these two as disti's for the UK Canford and LTF the connectors do however need a specialist crimp tool and die set which cost a small fortune. I used Eichman Bullet plugs on my cables last week, they're not fun to solder but might be worth thinking about.
