Building a Signal converter?

Hi, I need to build two signal converters for my system. I need to convert Scart to component. I know these are available to buy, but the funds are tight at the moment. So plan to build them, can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I could find some schematics? I am an electronics technician, so shouldn't have to many problems building these but you never know. Thanks!
