Redocorating a terrace house

Thinking of doing it this year as the wallpaper is starting to come away from the wall and ceiling.
Moved into the house with this already there.

Now I've noticed at the top of the walls is is uneven and am questioning why the put wallpaper on the ceiling.

I ain't got too much money to spend so I'm wondering what the cheapest way to have a nice room is.

I really want to have nice flat walls and a nice ceilingso I can paint on, but I just know that when this all comes off, I gonna have problems.

I'm not very good at wallpapering, so I am really contemplating just stick the falling wallpaper back on as I rekon there will be too much plastering.

Can't afford a pro to do it and with 2 babies, rally want a quick solution.

Have you guys had any expereince in these old terraces and know what the walls are really like?

If the ceiling is papered... this reeks of covering problemsIMO

The plaster work is probably shot and would require work to get it sorted.

If you want minimal costs, then resticking the paper is your only option.... but beware, most of the time paper unsticks because of excessive heat or moisture breaking down the adhesive.

Borrow a moisture level meter or sneakily ask a specialist for a quote (he will tell you if you have any damp for free)

Personally, I would get it sorted and dryline all the walls over the old plaster.
