Pyropen soldering iron - help please anyone

Hi all.

Just wondered if anyone knows anything about pyropen piezo soldering irons as i have one that won't light.
It's getting gas and a spark but for some reason won't ignite. Have just changed the burner but still no result.

Much appreciated

When you try to light it, is the gas on the low setting ?

I had a very old version of this, and when lighting you had to wait for it to heat up a good bit before you could give it full gas. Turning the gas up too soon, would blow the flame out.

Hi.

Doesn't seem to matter if its low high or in the middle, but thanks for asking. It developed the fault about 8 or 10 hours into use.
Bit odd, had three or four pyropens and this is the first one that's caused any problems.

Thanks all
