My living room build - indecision

Hi,

Great forums, there are some stunning installs on here, I can only hope to get somewhere near.

This is the first idea - I have basically ignored the left hand side of the room where the wall comes out (pipe work boxing) and centered the telly in the wall area after it, however, when I put the sofa in line with the telly the bloody thing overlaps the dining room double doors.

Next is to take the whole room into account and center it there, solves the problem of the dining room but it looks out of center IYKWIM, damn my OCD.

Please ignore the style of furniture and position of TV, it was my first attempt at Sketchup.

Cheers,

You could build some false boxing on the right to make it look even

You could have some doors on both sets of boxing but just use the right side for storage so as to not waste the space.

Another option is to put the TV on the same side as the dining room doors this would give a more natural walk way between the 3 doors.

I had never viewed the room like this before, but now I look at it, doesn't seem like a bad idea at all!

Ignore colours and furnishings, looks like this way is a go-er, thanks again Bob.
