phono wallplate without solder?

i'm planning to make a wallplate to tidy up the front of my room. currently its a brushplate with front speaker cables and a phono cable for the sub. i want to make a plate to take 3 speaker channels via banana plugs and a phono connector for rhe sub. all sounds easy however all the panel mount phono sockets i've found are with solder tags! does anyone do one i can just plug my existing phono cable into the back of??

Re: phono wallplate without solder?

If you are making a wallplate could you use a Phono Coupler like this?

Cyberselect do this one with screwdown rear connections - I was looking for something similar a week ago:

Re: phono wallplate without solder?

You could try this

Socket: RCA, Coupler (F-F), Gold 11-1040

It doesn't show a Picture but I am sure it would be the same as this without the plate.

Module: RCA (Y) (Inline Coupler) 53-3007-Y

Hope that Helps I purchased their USB Module and they were quick and good quality.

Dave.

Re: phono wallplate without solder?

On this subject - do you know if there is any difference in quality between a soldered joint versus screw down versus coupler joint?
