Question Advice Need please! Floating Wall Build on Internal Plasterboard/Metal Stud Wall

Hi,

Please can you advise me if this is possible and the best solution to make it work.

I am looking to build a floating wall on a plasterboard (12-15mm thick) held up by metal studs approx 400mm apart.

This wall will be on an internal wall with the house stairs behind the wall where the floating wall will be attached.

I am looking to use a timber frame (after seeing grooove's awesome project) and then mounting a Panansonic TH42PZ70B Plasma (30kg) on a PLB103M Universal 32-55" LCD: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo.

Any help to whether this is possible would be greatly apprieciated.

Thanks in advance.
