Red face Netstreams Digilinx for DIY (software?)

I've been finding used Netstreams Digilinx on the various resale boards (Craigslist, Ebay, etc...) and I really want to set up my house with this great product.

I'm very familiar with computer networks so the IP-based nature of the product is both intriguing and NOT intimidating.

However, in the course of my research it appears that access to the Dealer Setup Software is a major stumbling block to buying used Netstream equipment.

I don't need an installer everytime I want to change the doorbell or the background on touchpads. I want to tinker....

Any thoughts on how I can make that happen.

Thanks
