Blackout Blind - 240cm drop

Hi All,
I am having trouble finding some blinds at a reasonable price. Everywhere I see they have blackout blinds, that only drop as far as 195cm.

Is there anywhere reasonable that offer 240cm drop? We have some wooden venetian blinds which don't do a great job at blocking out the light, they came from ikea and have a drop of about 260cm. But Ikea's blackout blinds (Tupplur) don't offer anything near this.

Window is about 147cm x 240cm. Then need the 2 side windows which are about 86cm x 240cm.

Hi,

Did you get these blinds and were they any good? Am thinking of getting them myself. They are over 1/2 the price on a quote Ihave had from a local blind company.

Cheers

Hiya mate,

Yes I ordered the middle window size and it is fine. The only problem is if you have it fit inside the window the holders are a little bulky si there is about 1/2 inch of light getting through either side of the blind, which for me on a bright sunny day, gives a bar of light reflecting on the tv haha.

But its great quality and deffo recommended.

Hi,

Cheers for the response. I have the option of fitting it inside the window or above it on the wall If you know what I mean). Inside would look tidier and it is for a sliding door so there is a fair amount of timer frame so hopefully a 1/2 inch shouldnt be a problem.

A wee bit of experimenting is in order.

Cheers again
