Skirting for cables - Found a solution!

Hi folks,

Thought some people might be interested in a skirting board i found.

I used it to hide cat5 and speaker cables after doing up my living room.

It's MDF with a tracked/routered section at the back for the cables. It's cable with a high impact laminate in oak but it was available in white black and other woods.

It was roughly £6 quid for an 8ft length and is on the docket as 'Morley Skirting'

Cheers

Geo

Wish I knew about this stuff a couple of weeks ago

I spent ages routing out the back of my MDF skirting boards when we did our lounge!

I know mate, i tried the same myself and got bored after 45mins and only doing a few lengths.

I actually got this stuff in a carpet wholesalers. The pics don't do it justice but it's great stuff and top quality!

I put the cables into the groove and then taped over them! I just stuck it on with no nails and the odd masonary nail and it's turned out beltin!

B&Q also do a magnolia chalk that fills any we gaps and it's a pretty good match!
