have these plummeted in price or is this an ultra bargain ?

these were like 200-300 only a year back ? (not this exact model)

I'd snap one up to connect to my PC in another room if i had a HDMI enabled amp - I could do it but would have no sound !

They also have versions of these for less at Scan.. See the following thread..
HDMI over cat5, anyone tried these ??
I've got 3 of this model chained together with a couple of 1->2 HDMI splitters all working fantastically well in tandem.

If they're anything like the VGA/cat5 ones they're terrible.

I'd imagine digital is a different kettle of fish to analogue.
