Kef 3005se

Hi,

I am looking for a set of KEF 3005SE, prefferably in black. I have a Sevenoaks nearby but they are selling them for £999 and I'm not sure if I would be able to get them to budge or not??

If anyone has any experience of dealing with Sevenoaks then I would appreciate they're advise. Alternatively if anyone has an alternative place that I can purchase these cheaper (I live in Aberdeen) then that would be great.

Cheers

Re: Kef 3005se

They have an offer on at the moment whereby you get a 1/3 off the speakers rrp if you buy an amo at rrp.

Here's an idea.
Buy an onkyo tx576 for £300 and then get the kef 3500se for £660.
Total price £960

Bingo............................go sell your amp.

Re: Kef 3005se

That is an idea!! However I have just purchased an Onkyo 906, and don't really want to have the hassle of having to flog the 576 on ebay.

Cheers for the reply!

could give it to me, i'd even come pick it up from you :D I'm looking for an amp to start my home cinema system

Being serious the avforums for sale/trade section is quite active and I'm sure you could sell it relatively easily.

Re: Kef 3005se

But then why pay almost a grand and have to go through the trouble of selling an amp on which you'll probably only get about £150 for, when you can get the speaker package for about £800 anyway?
