Dark Knight home cinema artwork - special discount for AVForums members

Dark Knight - Joker Digital Artwork by Andrew Timbs

For me, this was the stand out scene from the Dark Knight. It was a moment which brought the tension to its highest level and captured Heath Ledger's brilliant portrayal of the insane villain perfectly. The sound drops to a deadly silence where you could here a pin drop in the cinema, only the Jokers hair flicking in the wind. The Joker, the Dark Knight's perfect nemesis has won the battle leaving Batman an impossible choice of rescuing 'Gotham's saviour' Harvey Dent or childhood sweetheart Rachel Dawes.

This drawing is completely unique and stylized in a way that will not be found anywhere other than Movie Art Prints. It will look amazing in your home cinema.

Using the latest digital vector illustration programs, Movie Art Prints specialise in bringing your favourite film scenes and characters to your living room or home cinema. All artwork is meticulously hand drawn on screen and no digital manipulation of an original image is used.

AVForums members will receive a 10% discount on all artwork. Please reply to this thread to receive the special promotion code. All orders have free UK delivery.

Dark Knight - Joker is available in a selection of materials and sizes up to a massive 2m x 1m to fit perfectly to your available space.

Looks good. Although my 2 favourites from the site are different sizes which means they can't be put next to each other. Shame.

Hi Dan.

If you let me know which drawings are your favourite then there may be a way I can edit the drawings to be exactly the same size.

Some of the artwork is amazing. I'll be saving up until I can buy 4/5 at once otherwise the room wouldn't look right.

Great job

Just moved into new house and would appreciate code; artwork looks superb, looking for something like this for my cinema/games room but (sorry for the stupid question) what is the best method of fixing the foamboard panels?

How to fix foamboard prints to the wall

There are two ways of fixing foamboard prints to the wall. Firstly, the foamboard material is very lightweight so can easily be fixed directly to the wall using velcro pads in each corner (I add an extra one to the top and bottom centre of the drawing just to be sure). The downside to this method is the damage it can cause to wallpaper. The second method is to frame the drawing. I have done this with my signed Freddy Krueger drawing. Obviously there is an extra cost to this but a frame does set off the drawing nicely and because they are printed on high gloss material, there is no reason to cover them with glass (which will save you a considerable amount). They are printed in UV ink so don't worry about fading.

I have used these on wallpaper without a problem. They can hold quite a lot of weight too!

Just to let you all know you can buy these hanging strips in Homebase usually displayed on their own "Command" retail displays.

I bought several different sized types of their products on Homebases 15% off promotional weekends, they have several of these each year. "Command" also do picture hanging hooks as well. They are primarily meant for painted walls so I can't comment on their effectiveness on wallpaper. But on painted walls when you want to remove the strips just follow the instructions and no marks should appear and no paint should be removed.

Love the prints by the way , Unfortunately I just don't have anywhere to hang them.

If someone wants to print a pixelated copy out at A3 and stick it on their bedroom wall with blu tack then so be it. Or, they could order a professionally printed and mounted piece of artwork up to two metres in length and hang it pride of place on their wall.
