Still waiting for the JL Judgement.
Of interest and slightly off topic(sorry), what will you couple these to when they arrive? Are you planning to use as Home cinema via an AVR or specifically for music?
I hope to pair them to a yet to be purchased AVR(maybe a Yamaha 671?) as fronts with my Solid(B&W) as rears, with a centre speaker to be purchased also?

Guess you got lucky my friend... ah well... it was worth a try

Dear Mr xxxx,

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the Q Acoustics 2050 tower speakers.

We carry a wide range of lines and our competitor has to have the line in stock for us to match the price. We deliver value to our customers by promptly supplying the product they require, either to take away or be delivered in a reasonable timescale.

I been in contact with Currys and PC World, and have been advised that they do not have any stock of the Q Acoustics 2050 tower speakers.

I am aware that the Q Acoustics 2050 tower speakers have been out of stock at Currys and PC World for home delivery and collection from their stores for a number of days before your request was submitted. Therefore, I cannot match the price quoted.

I am sorry I have not been able to reduce the price on this occasion. If you require any further information or assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Marc Doohan

Just to add to this thead I contacted JL to price match, there first reply was no but it had taken them a week to get in touch with me, so I replied saying if the had got in touch with me sooner they would f still been in stock at Curry's. I heard back this morning from JL again a week later I might add and they said would price the £99.97 of curry's, apparantly I will be refunded the differance from the original price once they have been delivered, so off to order a pair now, result

Was it the boxed speaker?
I was interested in the Onkyo SACD player on display but it has no remote or power lead!

Yeah it was boxed as new, did notice that there were some other clearance items that had no box with a big "last one" sticker on them
