LG BD350 Blu-Ray Player £99.99@Richer Sounds

Just got a "VIP e-mail" from Richer Sounds, this deck for £99. Cheapest I've seen elsewhere is £120ish.

LG BD350-R2 at Richer Sounds - HI-FI Separates, Home Cinema, Speakers, MP3 DVD Portables, Plasma LCD, etc.

I don't think so, I think it's only the later BD370 that can play MKVs.

Sorry to bring up the "old" thread, just wanted to point out that this is virtually the same as BD370, just without LAN, thus no YouTube or BDLive, but with mkv funcionality and probably all the little mkv incompatibilities of the BD370...

need a blu ray player for the kids play room and we have lg tvs so wanted a cheap blu ray player for them, just seen comet are selling it for £99.00. Was going to try to hold out for the sales but cant see it being offered much cheaper then.

LG BD350c bought in Canada, December 2009 (bestbuy), updated with latest firmaware, DOES NOT PLAY mkv files.

I can confirm that the UK version, well mine anyway, does play MKV files and also there is a firmware file doing it's rounds that you can use to make the DVD side multi-region. Got mine in Argos during the sales for less than richer sounds were doing. Tried getting richer sounds to do a price match but they were sold out but if they had some in stock would have knocked a fiver off the price making it £84.99
