Anyone know if any of the PC Worlds or Currys in the Bristol/Bath region have any Panasonic 35's?

I picked up a display BD35 from PC World F'boro Hampshire yesterday for £49.97. So head down to your local PC World and you may be lucky.

They had a Sony 350 too but that was £99.

The sony 350 down to £49.97 in currys. if anyone wants one then check the sony lcd tv display cabinet. there should be a player inside there. This is currys stock, but more often than not it is overlooked, so should be able to sell it if you ask for it

Tried all over South Wales trying to get a BD35 - no luck anywhere... Not much hair left now! Anybody know of a place online to get one of these from?

Re: panasonic 35 and sony 350 bluray for £99

Just picked up a Sony BD-S350 for £50 from currys in Blackburn, but it had no remote. Does anyone know where to get a cheap one? Also, are the S300, S500, S550 remotes compatible if i can find one for that?

Re: panasonic 35 and sony 350 bluray for £99

Just wanted to say thanks to Toddy28 for mentioning about the players at Chichester. By the time I got to seeing the post a couple of weeks ago they didn't have stock but mentioned that Currys at Portsmouth did. Managed to get myself the last Panasonic BD35 still boxed for £50.

Forgot to post back earlier but thanks again.

Re: panasonic 35 and sony 350 bluray for £99

At the Portsmouth branch they originally thought it was the display one under one of the Sony TVs but didn't have a remote and was priced at £80 I think. I was thinking is it still worth it with the possibility of using a programmable remote. However, when I took a look it was actually a BD30. They then double checked the stock system again and went out back to find it. To be fair the guy was pretty honest as he said if he had known about it he would have bought it himself. Makes a change from the usual 'let me just go out back and check... no sorry we don't have those anymore'.

Not sure if it's still available but when they checked the stock the only other store on their system listing a BD35 at £50 was the Bracknell store.
