Actually I just tried this with the receiver & controller and it knocked £100.80 off the list price which is about £50 cheaper than anywhere else online

Tempted to get another - got one at £149.99 at Amazon.

Need another receiver for the upstairs and another controller (I have iPeng too) would be useful (or could sell!!!!)

Hmmmm tempted - will have a coffee and think about it!!! Richer Sounds are doing the receivers for £79.99 so it would work out at £100 extra... then again if I got on with the iPeng on the new receiver I could then add another receiver (issue of getting stock at the moment) and bang a complete Duet system for a friend.

It's worth knowing that there are updates due soon on the Squeezebox Duet. It's called Squeezebox Touch.

New Logitech Squeezeboxes On The Way

This money off voucher is probably to shift old stock out of the channels. Still, doesn't make the Duet any worse.

Touch isn't a direct replacement for the duet, while the base unit has a touch screen the remote is a normal IR, so if anything it's probably more of a replacement for the classic.
