Hi

You should be able to pick any address book entry you want after compiling? Are you running the latest version of the Crestron website?

Re: Help If you could with VTPro ?

Hi

So does it not show up or does it show up and not connect when you select the entry?

If it doesn't show up you need to add an entry.

If it does show up go in to toolbox and the network tree and make sure it shows up with the correct ID. If it doesn't show on the ID you were expecting you either need to change its ID or your toolbox entry.

If the above doesnt solve it then let us know which device you are trying to talk to.

Hope some of that helps!

The cresnet ID's are all fine i checked over them about 25 times id say now redone the wiring incase there was a problem checked everywire but still nothing.

I am trying to connect to a TPS2000L using a CP2E i think its some thing to do with the entry's but they seem fine as well

hi james

make sure you have the default adress book open in toolbox

select the remote console to cnet ID entry field

on the right should be a dialogue box which says device is at

make sure this is selected on cresnet then select the cresnet id

also make sure that contact through at the bottom is selected to serial on com1

note you must have a RS232 straight through connected on com1 for this to work!

if it wont upload still unplug the cresnet connection from the tps-2000 place your thumb on the screen while applying the cresnet connection back in and the panel should boot into setup mode. Double check the cresnet id on the setup menu of the tps-2000 matches the entry in toolbox

also check the cresnet connection is wired red, white, blue.black ie 24 = red ect ect

Re: Help If you could with VTPro ?

I cant select the remote console to CNET entry in address book it displays an error off :-

'The device could not be identified. Reason: The device failed to respond when requested for its identity.'

Its all wired up correctly and the TPS ID is correct as well.

Getting on my nerves now
