LED uplighting in floor.

Hi folks,

hope your all enjoying the bank holiday. Im having some solid oak flooring fitted on the landing and want to incorporate some uplighters into it. The landing is roughly 3m long by 1m wide but is L shaped where the top of the stairs are (so at the one end its roughly 2m wide) I want have a border of light that will be bright enough to have the landing lit up well enough for no other lights to be needed, say equal to a standard 60w ceiling rose light.

Ive had a search through alot of threads on here and on google. Ive not really seen anything that has grabbed me yet though. Has anyone got anything like this, that they could pass on any advise.

Thanks alot for your help

Re: LED uplighting in floor.

I have used these in my garden decking. They are pretty bright, not sure they would be as bright as a 60w bulb though. If you are in no rush then I will be able to take some photos of them fitted to the plinths in my kitchen as well. Gonna be a couple of weeks though.

I've never had a problem with them. Had them fitted to the decking for over 2 years and they have never failed.
