LW12 Micro Module

Hi all,

Really simple question.

I'm planning on using the LW12 in wall module for a 2way lighting setup, but have also been looking at my normal single way lighting for the rest of the house.

If i want to stay with in wall stuff, is the LW12 my only option/best option?

If i want them on remote control then i assume i need a transmitter like the TM12/13 ?

Re: LW12 Micro Module

LW12 is a good option if you consider the following....

1) they should only be used with dimmable lamps.
2) you need a suitable controller to program them up.

A TM13 and suitable remote will give you wireless remote control of the lights.

thanks,

From my understanding i only need to program them for remote control (and possibly dimming?) - but i wouldn't need to program them for just on/off - is that right?

The reason i ask is that i won't be integrating them into any kind of home system yet, but would like to install them for future use.

Re: LW12 Micro Module

Letsautomate.com has a useful diagram and datasheet for the LW12. Remember that you need momentary mains switches in your new setup. The lights will turn on and off and dim from the switch. You are right, you should only need to program them up when you start using x10 remote control.
