lighting for new home cinema room

hi i'm in my final stages of completing my home cinema room ie on decorating stages. i've laid all cables for av system but need to tackle the lighting. my room measures 6.5m x 3m and i currently have a double switch to control 2 chandeliers but these are coming out. i want to replace them with a combination of spotlights (gu10's) about 11/12 plus multi coloured led's for visual effects during screen coming down and going up plus some dim light during movie watching on a projector.
Projector and screen will not be installed for a while however bulking of the viewing will be on a 50" plasma. it is a single storey buliding so access to the roof ie above ceiling is not a problem.
dilema :
i wish to have dimmable low energy spotlights eg megaman plus dimmable coloured led's so dont have choice of many control systems.
original budget was £500 but thats seems impossible as the GET Smart system plus B&Q home easy system are incompatible with dimmable low energy gu10's.
is RAKO the answer but it seems costly with over £115 per dimmers and controllers...this could soon mount up..

what i want is when my control system is set up then I should be able to set up scenes from the various channels but also use those channels individually including dimming and on or off.

exactly what items do i need to buy in terms of control systems and coloured led's ...i may stretch to £1000 including all bulbs and control systems...any ideas... maybe horney dragon..you seems to have some good understanding of this area??

MAybe look at Lutron Graffic eye 4 channel and Futronix for multichannel single room dimmers compatibility will be the issue CFL and LED are very new and control hasn't caught up fully what control iterface will you want? RS232? IR? this will further limit system choice. Might be best to contact a local specialist try www.av-candy.co.uk for some cool lighting solutions for home cinemas

thanks for some info. control interface would be a wall plate plus remote (wall plate so that any member of family can come in and use the facility..remote ideal when sitting down plus compatible with harmony 1000 remote would be nice but not necessary. will look at others such as lutron graffic and futronix...av-candy seems expensive but very local
