Hi Tech Bedroom Build

Hey Guys new to all the home automation stuff!

but ive always wanted home automation things in my room.

im gettin a epson emp dm1 proector and projecting tht on a white wall.

want anything tht will make my room be home automated?

room is 12ftx10ft anyone got any ideas on wt i can buy or have in my room?

Not sure why you would want something for the sake of it being "automated" but how about just getting yourself a few IR controled devices such as, varlight remote dimmers to replace your light switches, couple of IR mains power adapters for floor lighting or something simmilar and then an IR controlled pedestal fan. Might be a start - you would want a Harmony remote or something though. You just need to decide whether to go IR or RF.

i am having ir remote dimmer fitted and want to have other things mayb remote control blinds?

another thing is there a cheap way of gettin a small webcam to put on top of my door and hook up to my computer?
