RF Power Switch + Remote £5 @ Robert Dyas

Was in the southampton branch today as they lied and told me they had a backbox for drylined wall, noticed they had these reduced from £8 to £5. Note these were in a small cardboard box on the base of the display unit, not the one in the transparaent plastic "you cant get in without a stanley knife and losing 3 fingers" packaging which seems to be exacult the same thing/supplier but for £10

the box contains one socket and one remote. the remote has on and off buttons for 3 sockets. the sockets have a selector on the back, there are 4 zones of three (so i assume the remote can be switched between zones probably in the battery compartment)

not a bad price

Was it this thing?

You've given me a great idea actually for controlling my LCD backlights. I could plug this in and use the remote to turn them on and off
