Questions For Ikea Dioder Owners

Thinking of purchasing this: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30119408

£40 for 4 lights to go around my wall mounted 40" Samsung LCD. Just a few things I want to know as Ikea don't tell you much:

1) I assume these just plug into 1 standard wall socket, how long is the cable that they provide as it will be going into a wall channel.

2) How do you turn them on and off and change colours? As my TV is wallmounted is there just a box that I have to stick behind the TV and I assume there is no remote so do I have to press the button and choose the colour each time?

3) Is it better to stick the lights to the TV or the wall?

Not sure exactly how long but quite a reasonable length.

There's a button that you need to press or press and hold depending on what you need. This is in the middle of the cable not at any corner, so you'll need to see where you want to mount it.

Mine are on the wall (cabinet) behind the telly not on the telly. Don't know what's better though.

Re: Questions For Ikea Dioder Owners

So where exactly is the box with the button on? Do you have to turn each light on and select its colour individually? Do they remember which colour you last used? Can you turn the brightness down? (sorry for all the questions )

Box is somewhere on the cable, mine is currently connected so can't measure it. Sorry.

One press will control the colour change for all the lights and I haven't found a way of changing the brightness of the lights.
