Re: harmony 1000 controlling x10 home automation

you need to teach the harmony the IR from the original remote

Re: harmony 1000 controlling x10 home automation

I have a Harmony 895
I got it to work by adding a new IR->X10 device in the online setup
- Add New Device
- Home Automation
- Light Controller
- Marmitek IR7243

I tried teaching the Harmony, but it wasn't able to learn from the x10 remote (a Marmitek easy Touch 35 x10 remote).
Have you managed to do this?
If so I'd like to know how as I'd like to be able to replace some of the provided x10 commands (which require two or three button presses) with single button-press commands.
Eg. Replace the 3 HouseA + Light1 + On buttons with a single A1On button
