m2 concept lighting
Just been to see a new lighting system in redditch..brought to this country by m2 called concept automation.M2 are part of C.E.F.(CITY ELECTRICAL FACTORS)It originates from Italy..from a name I have forgotten.Has anybody seen/used this system yet? It works on the bus system as well as wireless.
Got to say from what I saw I was quite impressed.....in particular the software to programme the lights .It is far more intuitive than Clipsal and easy to get sms text messages for predetermined events/simulate house occupation and all those other gadget minded selling points. Downsides from what I can see....switch accessories not that sexy, pirs are of the antiquated square plate variety with the sensor in middle, doesnt have the ability to ramp the lights at whatever speeed tyou choose. But still I came away pretty bullish especially if they can improve on the accessory side.(touch screens etc)If anybody has seen this stuff would appreciate input before I start touting it as possible alternative. Thanks |
