2 Zone Lutron Graffik Eye? Or similar alternative

Morning guys,

Im after a light controller that has multiple scene function and remote control. My parents have a Lutron Graffik Eye which is fantastic, but unfortunately too expensive for me. I also only need a two zone system so the Lutron is already overkill. Ive had a search but struggling to come up with anything that will do the job. Im not aware that Lutron do a two zone version, but maybe someone could shed some light on that.

A unit that can have downlighters on one zone (6-8 lights, not sure if they will be 240 or 12v yet but will probably have a max rating of 35W each if the 240v) and a single rope light on the other is what I am after. Needs to have multiple scenes with remote control so I can integrate it into Harmony activities. E.g. sitting down to watch a film will have downlighters off and dims the rope light.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

John

Re: 2 Zone Lutron Graffik Eye? Or similar alternative

One lutron 2 zone graphic eye went for £90 odd on ebay yesterday, so there are some bargains out there. They come up fairly often on there. I bought my 6 zone unit from there (brand new) and it was basically half price. Worth considering...

A bit late but... the Lutron Dual Rania dimmer would do the job perfectly - it has support for 5 programmable scenes and 4 presets per zone. Unfortunately the standard Rania remotes don't support the Scene or Preset functionality (not enough buttons - although the Single Rania Remote does support the "Favourite Scene" function via the round silver button). The Rania is largely compatible with the Grafik system, so you may be able to buy a Grafik remote (although I'm not really sure if this would work) or program your Harmony remote with the necessary codes (which definitely does work) and gain access to the Scene/Preset functionality.

I'm currently having Logitech add all of the Pronto codes for the Rania range that I obtained from Lutron. They've currently added the codes to my Logitech Harmony One account and they're working perfectly... I'm now waiting on Logitech to create the correct Single and Dual devices for everyone else to use.

Lutron Rania Pronto codes in this post.
