Is it? the reason I ask is that putting up through walls and under floorboards may not be an option for me but running cable around the house maybe a solution is it possible to do this? or is there an alternative as I want to send signals from my SKy box to severlal different rooms.

Sorry, Do you mean CAT5e Data cable or CT100 Coax Cable

All CT100 type cable should be waterproof and would be the easiest way to share Sky around a house.

Just make sure you include drip loops on the cable before you enter in through the wall so that water doesnt run down the cable and in through the wall.

A drip loop is a little U shaped loop in the cable so that your cable comes in through the wall from the bottom rather than the top.

So what do you actually want to achieve?

Sharing Sky around the house is far easier over coax, but without knowing what you want to achieve it si difficult to give full advise.

And to answer the original question, you can get CAT5e as External grade cable.

Think you need PVC covered, not low smoke zero halogen, the later is porous I think.

What I wan to achieve is to be able to play Sky in each room and have the facility to turn SKY over in each room, as a SKY+ box only has one 9v output I thought I might be able to acheive this by using cat5 and some sort of link system. Any advice is appreciated. Oh and one of my plasmas does not have an RF input (old one with no box I just use direct scart into it) it has the following VGA Svideo and composite, so I would still want to send the signal to it.

Send svideo over cat 5 as you suggest to the plasma, using the external grade cat 5 that belkin and some others do, then use rf distribution that passes through the dc from RF2 for the other screens and magic eyes for control - if you run the rf to the tunerless plasma too you'll be able to use a magic eye with that one
You can send VGA over cat 5 (and distribute VGA, audio and IR over cat 5 using eg. Smart-E) but would need a scaler to turn the sky signal into VGA in the first place.
You could send composite instead of RF but then would need to run audio in too and seperate terrestrial feeds if you wanted them = hassle!

Ok thanks for that but a couple more questions.

1. There is only one RF2 with 9v which I believe is what the magic eyes need in order to be used remotely, so how do I get that to more than one TV?
2. If I feed the plasma with svideo via cat5 how could I get sound from the plasma?

Ah, the svideo sender and receiver pairs usually include audio baluns for sending stereo audio too, and sometimes include IR or RS232 (for which you can make adapters to send IR signals)
You can run RF2 into an RF distribution amp with DC BYPASS - this allows you to use RF2 in multiple locations with magic eyes
