GET PLC - Distributors?

I am trying to find a distributor for Get PLC, apart from B&Q. I tried ringing a local electrical wholesaler who I use, they said they don't do them anymore and don't know of anyone who does.

Hopefully someone on here will be able to point me in the right direction - either in the Yorkshire or Manchester area, or somewhere that does mail order.

Thanks in advance

Re: GET PLC - Distributors?

Hi Mate

CEF (City Electrical factors) they supply GET equipment if you want to go local. They have catalogues you can browse and will help you with advice, mine do anyhow, you will also get trade discount.

You can also order on line from TLC.

http://www.cef.co.uk/ (for your nearest branch.)

http://www.tlc-direct.co.uk (for on line.)

http://www.getplc.co.uk/ (for further info and suppliers)

If its the wireless lighting system your looking at let me know how it goes I have been interested in that myself. I did get some prices but can't find them now! I think the RF dimmer units were around 70 quid.

Regards....Kevin.

Re: GET PLC - Distributors?

Thanks, didn't bother checking CEF. I didn't realise TLC stocked any GET stuff, but they certainly don't stock what I want.

They do a nice looking IR Dimmer switch -I already have the varilight one from TLC but I'm not keen on the look

I'll try CEF on Monday - thanks alot

Re: GET PLC - Distributors?

If its the grid range with the up and down buttons and the IR detector in the middle then I know what you mean...they look cool, I have a number of their flat plate standard rotary dimmers which I am thinking of changing over to the grid non IR.

I am looking at their wireless sytem for my lounge when I go fully AV in there which depends on the tax man leaving me alone for a year...

good luck.....Kevin.

Youre going to pay twice as much buying from Homebase rather than an electrical wholesaler
BEW is also a main stockist for GET.

Re: GET PLC - Distributors?

We should be set up as distributors in the next couple of weeks.

Mainly to offer thier Smart Lighting and CCTV range, but we should be able to get the other stuff as well.

Vex, be nice to know what sort of discounts you could offer on the wireless smart lighting! with a decent discount you may do some good business from this forum...

Kevin.
