Yes, they are about a centimetre wide and each section is about a foot long.

So my post, where I've actually looked at my lights, doesn't count?
They're sort of rectangular (but not a rectangle, it's a profiled shape), more like 9mm * 6-7mm.

they are slightly rounded!
great items and can use them for so ma many things, ill be posting newer pics of my setup and iv used them in the edging of glass shelves in the unit my av gear is in which gives a great bright blue strike through all 4 frosted doors.
they can also be plugged directly into each other with no gaps so you can have a huge light sabre!

Not that bright if you choose blue. I use those for behind the telly. With the lights out, they give a lovely glow.
The missus bought the white ones to stick under the kitchen cabinets. Pukka for that, they're decidedly brighter and I can make a cup of char without turning the main lights on

Sorry if this is a noob question but how are these wired - is there a plug or do they have to be wired into a switch or something? Not clear (to me anyway) from the IKEA picture on the web.

They come with a small transformer which plugs into the mains.

Hi guys - really like the look of these but a bit confused How do they fit behind the TV?
I have a LCD on glass shelving so where do they attach to? Surely you cannot just stick them to the LCD - and the glass shelving is not thick enough to stick on the back?
Am I being dense!! |

They come with little sticky pads.
And yes, I've stuck mine to the back of the telly.
