Varilight IR Dimmer Question

Hi All,

I have a Varilight ir touch dimmer fitted in my room. I works as it should by hand of by my sony remote (touch switch programed to the remote).
I have an old "Superswitch" touch dimmer and one button remote control. I would like to use the superswitch remote, but the varlight doesn't recognise it. It will recognise all my sony remotes.
Is there anything I can do to the superswitch remote to allow it to work? Maybe build a simple one button ir transmitter in the superswitch remote case?

Cheers
