White out probs with security cam

Have one off these Aldi surveillance cameras with the built in PIR movement sensor and two way intercomm facility whith which I am more than happy with the only problem is that the camera picture keeps getting " white out " it does mention within the handbook supplied with the camera that car headlights can trigger this sympton but just to switch off and back on again to cure the problem.

now where I have my camera situated overlooking the front door off the house there is no chance off car headlights !!! so just whate else is causing this white out problem and how do I cure it ?? switching the cam off and then back on again is not really feasable every time.

anyone got the same problem managed to cure this problem ??

If they mention that head lights can do it then any bright light source with cause it.

Does the sun hit it at any time?

Thanks mate, thinking about it its actually causing the picture to darken to the extent that the picture is very hard to see, a quick off and then back on again cures the problem but still sure thats its something like the actual lens seeing too much sunlight, after titled the camera so that there is infact very little actual light getting to the camera but still getting the problem ????!!!!!

Do you have any spec sheets on the camera?
