CCTV for garage

I am looking to portect my garage with CCTV. It is a free-standing garage within about 10 metres of the house.

I am ideally looking for something with a motion sensor that will send the images wirelessly to a PC in the house. The garage has power so I can power the camera but would not have any recording gear down there.

Does this sort of thing exist?

If you have internet access from your garage (WiFi) you could use a network camera like this. A bt on the expensive side but does everything you want. It doesnt require a PC to be on and will email you or FTP images/video when it detects motion.

I bought two of these for my house and they work well. Do a search on eBay for network cameras and there are quite a lot out there but you the more you pay the better they are.

If you do have wifi then one of these http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/product....c3ea82561e25a1 and a security light with pir might sort you. I take it you want to put this IN the garage otherwise external cameras get pricey.

Re: CCTV for garage

Sorry to jump in, but im looking at viewing my drive after a few problems and have decided on the axis 207 camera. Just wondering where the best (cheapest) place you guys get them from
I have found
http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/c...n&currency=GBP

http://www.lambda-tek.com/components...prodID=1092125

http://www.icode.co.uk/icatcher/cctv...t=dept_22.html

but i dont understand why there is such a gap between them. I have tried kellkoo, price runner etc but cant find them any cheaper. Are they really that expensive?

Thanks

Re: CCTV for garage

I bought my 207W camera off ebay (came from a shop www.powerkeycomputing.com), it was competative at the time.

Just had a quick look at the links you provided and they look competitive.
