Any ideas when the Futronix P400 will be available in blue

Hey,

Does anyone have any idea when the Futronix P400 with the blue display will be available? I have sent a PM to the guy at audiovisiononline.co.uk but had no reply - any idea where else I might be able to get one from & when?

Thanks,
Alex.

Futronix blue LED P400 etc.

Hi there

The problem associated with blue numerical LED's in the past is that they are quite dim and difficult to see from a distance. I know that there are now high brightness versions available and hopefully Futronix will use these as a relpacement or option to the existing red displays soon. If I here of this happening I will post information for you

Re: Any ideas when the Futronix P400 will be available in blue

Update – the blue LED display has been available since 2006. White is now standard for the Futronix P100, P400 and P800 scene dimmers. Blue has been retained as an option for new colours like the Sahara Champagne finish. In reply to the question, the LED’s are high quality with good colour rendering.

Thanks to all

The blue LEDS are too bloody bright though! The P400 in my bedroom is practically like daylight!
