LED lighting

Hi all,

I'm looking at putting some LED strip lights behind a TV I'm mounting in an alcove (ala so many other people on these boards ). I'm just wondering if anyone could let me know how much I would need.

Do you need to make a rectangle of lights as large as the TV (46" in this case) or will a smaller rectangle/square do the job?

Can anyone recommend anywhere to get the lights? I'd also like a wireless remote for them too.

Thanks for your time.

Bob.
