Clapper/light turning on device.

I have not got much money to burn, 20 years of age, living with my mum, don't want to invest a big amount in my new room as I don't wanna see myself living there for many years to come. This is probably a worrying sign of my increased laziness but I wanted a clapper for my ceiling light. I just have your standard light switch and don't want anything requring going in the roof or taking a wall down. Just wondering if there is any inexpensive gadget/means of turning of your light in a cool way which does not require locomotation.
