CCTV camera suitable for location?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to install a couple of cameras outside my home - one to observe a driveway and another around the back to cover a small garden area.

I live in a bungalow, and due to the roof can't get much height on the cameras, so was looking for something fairly discreet.

I have seen this mini dome camera at RF Concepts, and wondered if anyone seasoned in CCTV could tell me if its "0.5 Lux at F2.0" rating would be ok to use in an area that has a security light, and a little ambient lighting from a street light.

Would the image be too dark to see anything? Should I be looking at something with the spider attracting IR built in?

I've attached images with and without the security light, from the rough camera position to give an idea of the environment. Sorry for the naff quality, but it was dark!
