Ambilight alternative?

I like the idea of Philips's Ambilight, but like my Fujitsu screen too much too swap it for a Philips screen, so does anyone know of anything that can be used with a plasma panel that would work in the same way as the ambilight, meaning that it changes colour with the screen?

Re: Ambilight alternative?

Oh how I would adore such a thing.
It'd need to have a HDMI input to know what color to display on what side. I've looked around for the exact thing myself in the past and found nothing.
If you do find one, let me know.
I can't see it existing though, and certainly not at a sensible price.
