Post Wireless thermostats - Interference - Lock up

I have an installation that uses two three way wireless receivers to control a total of five zones using programmable thermostats. (Danfos TP5E RF)

Over recent months I have been experiencing problems with the system ‘locking on’ on all channels intermittently – this has the obvious result of a very hot building (not to mention the fuel costs).

This has even included channel six - which is spare!
I have contacted Danfoss tech support for advice and was not able to obtain any help (Have not come across this problem -try changing the battery)
I have therefore to consider replacement of the system with alternative equipment.
The only changes in recent months has been the addition of some lighting controls using X 10 technology (mains borne) which I do not believe should affect an RF system. There are wireless networks in the vicinity and I suspect this could be a source of interference but this has been working for a couple of years before this problem occured.
Does anybody have any comments / help as to possible causes and solutions.

I have seen a previous post which suggests Honeywell use a lower data rate which is less prone to interfence.

Help would be apreciated
Many thanks
