Looking for a good switched mains socket.

Does anyone know of a good switched mains socket / strip. I am looking at something that will switch a mains socket when my Onkyo 805 Receiver turns on / goes into standby. I have looked at the Intelliplug / Intellipanel range but they seem to also switch off the Reciever after a short while. I would like to use the Onkyo Switched 240v AC outlet but that does not have enough power but something that could be switched by that output would be ideal.

Re: Looking for a good switched mains socket.

Then you would want a Double pole relay controlled by 240V AC Maplins aell them but you will need to build a safe enclosure. (often easier to use the 12V out as that will happily run a relay and save the 240V out.

Thanks for the info, I had considered that but when I checked the manual, the 12v out is only for zone 2. It may be the 240v system then if I cannot find anything else.
