Re: Philips LivingColors LED Mood Light, Mini, Silver £38.37 delivered @ Amazon!

Hi, I remember buying this when I first saw them at Homebase last year - I ummed and ahhh'd about buying one but the temptation to spend was too great. Was £120 when I bought it then bloody B&Q had it on for £100 a couple of weeks later.

It's been great during winter, ours is permanently on an orangey glow to give the room a warm look - although the missus still wanted the heating on full!

The remote control cover is a pain to remove though to change the batteries isn't it, or is it just mine?

Ooops - just realised it was the mini version...

I sell them where I work and they are all like that, right pain unless you leave the transparrent tag sticking out which looks a bit naff. with the larger one you can also link up to 7 of them together to control off the same remote

Both sized are pretty cool, although I'd rather have the larger one purely for the remote.

Yup the battery cover is a pain to remove...... so much so, I thought mine was faulty and I contacted Philips. I was all set to return it as I simply couldn't get into the damn thing to fit the batteries. My brother pushed his car keys inside and it popped off. Poor design though!
