Shallow cavity downlights?

I would like to replace my out dated light fittings and install some halogen downlights but my problem is I only have a 7cm mounting depth. Is it possible? If so where can I get downlights that will fit in such a shallow cavity?

I am in a flat and the above floor is concrete so no fire risk to above floorboards.

Thanks for your help......

Re: Shallow cavity downlights?

You can buy a similar looking thing in a bar format from TLC Direct. This is surface mounting but to be honest I don't think it would look too great. Maybe don't fit downlights...
