Dark Mornings - advice?

Hi all

Well, its that time of year when the mornings are getting misserable and dark.

I was looking to get one of these lumine alarm clocks with the built in light that simulates sunrise....

However, I was looking to see if i could find a plug in wall adapter, that i could plug my two bed side lamps into, that i could set a time for the lights to 'dim on' then gradually brighten over the course of 30 mins... if this thing could also have a remote control that we could switch the lights on and off directly too....????

Does such a plug in adapter exist? I tried googling but just couldnt find what i have in mind...

Help and alternative suggestions please.

Although they do not have a remote control these will let you use your existing bedside lamps. I would have thought you could switch the lamps on via a button located on the unit therefore would require a remote control?

how much do you want to spend? Rako do kit which would allow this but would be very expensive if this is the only functionality you require, if you want it as part of a whole room (or even house) lighting system it may be ok. www.rakocontrols.com (I think)

not really sure on price.... a sad light/alarm costs around £100. Will take a look at the site.

Yeah, it'll be a lot more than £100 once you get all the bits you need! you would be able to do all sorts of clever stuff like remote control, presence simulation while on holiday etc. but I guess it's down to whether the extra features are any use to you (or you can convince yourself they are!).
