Hi there,

Hope someone can help me. In my house I got Baxi 105he instant combi boiler for heating and hot water. I am looking to install wireless digital room thermostat.

What is the best option and is it possible to do myself?

Whilst ours is not controlling the hot water it can do it.

Ours is great and I think it has made an impact on our usage as well.

We are using the Honeywell CM927 which I wired in myself. I shopped around on the interweb thingy (dont use it that much ) and IIRC I found it for about £70 a year ago.

Any Plumbers Merchants near by ? Screwfix ? there's a lot to choose from digital ? dial ? but I suppose it comes down to your budget.....You have a Transmitter ( Thermostat ) and Receiver ( turns boiler on ) ....very straight forward install on the baxi combi.
Does the boiler have the timer ( Clock ) fitted ?

Yes installed combi got timer clock fitted. The combi model is Baxi 105 he instant.

Anyone please, I am struggling to understand how the Honeywell CM927 will work with the inbuilt baxi comibi timer.

If anyone has fitted, please guide me.

Would it be possible for myself to get it fitted.

There are terminals inside the boiler for connection of a standard wired thermostat and/or external timeclock/programmer. The terminals usually have a link wire fitted that needs to be removed when the external controls are connected. In the conventional set up this then means that the Baxi timeclock and thermostat have to be calling for heat for the boiler to operate. As the CM927 includes both time and temperature control all you need to do is wire the CM927 boiler relay/receiver module to the boiler thermostat terminals and set the Baxi timeclock to "always on" therefore all of the control is now done by the CM927.
