Could someone look at this setup?

Hi there All,

I'm sure my situation is not unique, but as a novice in the field of HA I'm finding it quite difficult to track down useful information for a problem I have.

I recently purchased a small house with a HA system built by the owner (a HA installer / programmer). He's given us a list of equipment included for the audio system, and I've noticed he's removed the Vantage Controls c-box (with wireless). I've found out that this is essentially the "brains" of the system, and without it, the touch panels included will not function. I was wondering if somebody here could help me answer some questions:

- Can I get a new HA control unit (such as the Insteon Cortexa) and have it controlled by the touch panels included, or does it have to be a Vantage / AMX product?

- What is a ballpark figure for attaching this stuff together, programming it and the consult required? Is there a way to determine a very rough number using the information I have already?

Thanks in advance.

Here are a couple of photos of some of the touch controls:

Re: Could someone look at this setup?

Are you in the US? From the touch screen I think you may be?
