Re: basic Home Automation Lighting Help

Lutron do a little wall plate dimmer called the Rania with can do two circuits and is IR controlled. But their Solina (table lamp dimmer) doesnt have IR control.

However a rako keypad can trigger both ceiling lights and table lamp style dimmers and they offer a IR to Rako RF converter for you to use your learning remote with, but it aint cheap.

For something in the middle, control of everything but not with IR look at GET Smart Lighting.

Re: basic Home Automation Lighting Help

Should do, Z-Wave is a wireless communication system, so it doesnt really matter what it is talking
to.

All you need to do now is wait until the switches finally arrive here in the UK. It has only taken a couple of years so far!!!
