Powermax plus alarm help

I've just tried to install this alarm, I started out by trying to go to the installer mode the instructions say press the next button twice then press enter, this asks you for a passcode, the book says this should be 9999 or 8888. I've tried them both but they arn't accepted.

I can't see that I'm doing anything wrong, but the code doesn't work.

Any suggestions

Cheers

If I remember correctly you go into the user setup first so use the code 1111 (default) the press back twice and ok to go into installer mode with the codes you listed above.

Hope this helps
